• Perform initial, subsequent, and specialized inspections to assess property condition and identify preservation needs • Ensure vacant properties are winterized, secured, and maintained (lawn care, debris removal, repairs, pool securing, etc.) • Review bids, manage contractors, and oversee preservation work to ensure timely, cost-effective completion per investor guidelines • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements and investor/insurer guidelines • Maintain accurate records of inspections, preservation activities, expenses, and communications • Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure properties are preserved according to standards • Monitor for risks such as code violations, hazard claims, and occupancy changes, proactively addressing issues to avoid regulatory infractions and financial losses
• At least 2–3 years in property preservation, asset management, or a related field • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations, investor/insurer guidelines, and industry standards for property preservation • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., MSP, LoanSphere, Yardi, FHA Connection), Microsoft Office, and digital documentation tools • Experience working with vendors and contractors in a property preservation setting • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and collaborate with teams • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under pressure to meet deadlines
