📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans using evidence-based guidelines • Provide medical nutrition therapy for chronic and acute conditions through one-on-one virtual sessions • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the designated EHR system • Coordinate care with referring physicians, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members • Educate patients on healthy eating, lifestyle changes, and nutrition-related disease management • Create and implement targeted nutrition programs for populations managing diabetes, heart disease, or athletic performance goals • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including proper coding and documentation • Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in team training or case reviews • Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) • Active certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) • Must maintain active state licensure and current CDR credential necessary to practice as an RD/RDN in all assigned states • Active multi-state licensure required; certification in 2+ states across the United States • Preference for licensure in North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, and Texas; open to other states • Proof of active professional liability insurance coverage • Experience with weight management and cardiometabolic conditions • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems • Prior virtual health or telehealth nutrition counseling experience preferred but not required • Flexible availability, including days, evenings/nights, and weekends • Must successfully pass a background check and maintain good standing with applicable state board(s) • Bilingual, particularly Spanish-speaking, is a plus but not required • Ability to work at least 15 hours per week, with a maximum of 25 hours per week
