📋 Description

• Originate new business and generate direct deal flow across restaurant and fitness franchise finance sectors • Manage complex client relationships with franchisees, franchisors and chain brands • Serve as a trusted advisor to large and middle-market operators • Develop relationship strategy, business development, deal origination, structuring and portfolio oversight • Originate, negotiate, structure, price, underwrite and close loans • Coordinate teams to approve and close new deals while optimizing profitability • Manage a complex commercial loan portfolio and monitor portfolio quality • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines • Partner with portfolio managers to gather financial statements, monitor reporting compliance and analyze financial information • Recommend or take corrective actions and manage the bank’s risk exposure • Collaborate with Credit and outside counsel to prepare credit approval documents • Manage the transaction onboarding process • Engage sponsors and borrowers to identify ideas and relationship expansion opportunities • Monitor industry trends and market conditions affecting assigned relationships • Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences • Mentor and assist less experienced Relationship Managers • Perform special projects and additional duties as required • Complete required compliance training and maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, finance or related field • 10+ years as a Franchise Finance Relationship Manager • Expert knowledge of commercial lending credit, underwriting and loan structuring • Expert analytical skills for financial and cash flow analyses • Highly developed negotiation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience using a calling strategy to actively call on prospects/clients • Personally developed network of clients and potential clients • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel • Some travel may be required • Ability to perform moderate physical exertion and stamina, including standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting • Credit training preferred
