📋 Description

• Perform prior authorizations and appeals, as required, for all oral oncology and supportive medications • Serve as an extension of the medical practice • Demonstrate working knowledge of role responsibilities, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures • Perform other assigned duties and projects • Perform all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Florida candidate residents • High school education or GED required • Valid FL Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license required by the posting title and candidate-resident statement; the qualifications section lists it as preferred • Three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare field, retail, hospital or specialty pharmacy experience preferred • Experience completing prior authorization forms preferred • Oncology experience preferred • Critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills • Detail-oriented with ability to exercise independent judgment • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills and diversity awareness • Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and emotionally charged matters • Good command of the English language • Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills • Strong customer focus and organizational awareness • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Ability to work remotely effectively • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and manage competing priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required • Successful background, drug and nicotine screening • Required vaccinations, including influenza, unless an approved exemption applies
