• Advance Forest Home’s mission through creative, engaging, and brand-consistent marketing and communications across Programs and Guest Retreats • Support the Marketing department through content creation, graphic design, organic social media, email marketing, and overall brand support • Plan and create organic social media content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn • Design marketing materials and email communications • Write and edit marketing copy, including social captions, email copy, promotional messaging, and other communications • Collaborate with Forest Home’s photo and video team to develop shot lists and creative priorities • Communicate upcoming content needs, organize delivered assets, and identify opportunities to repurpose existing photo/video content • Design and build emails in HubSpot, develop supporting graphics, and draft/edit email copy • Review and create materials for consistent use of logos, typography, colors, imagery, voice, and overall brand presentation • Organize photography, video, graphics, templates, and other creative assets for easy location and reuse • Develop a basic understanding of organic social and email performance and use insights to inform future creative work • Attend scheduled virtual meetings and communicate project updates and potential challenges
• High school diploma or equivalent required • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field preferred • Previous internship, coursework, volunteer experience, or hands-on experience in marketing, communications, social media, or graphic design preferred • Portfolio or examples of creative work preferred • Support Forest Home's mission and values • Signed statement of faith • Ability to pray for others both in-person and on the phone • Participate in staff spiritual activities • Christ-like attitude and servant heart • Strong visual design sense and creative eye • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Ability to create clear, engaging, and on-brand marketing communications • Understanding of organic social media best practices and platform-specific content • Ability to maintain brand consistency across social media, email, presentations, and other marketing materials • Strong organization and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines • Self-starter who takes initiative and works effectively in a remote environment • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to receive creative direction and incorporate feedback • Basic understanding of email marketing best practices • Basic understanding of social media and email marketing performance metrics • Ability to learn new marketing platforms and tools quickly • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote environment • Creative, flexible, and willing to contribute across a variety of marketing projects • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work • Receptive to feedback and willing to revise creative work as needed • Collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude • Available to work approximately 20 hours per week during the seasonal term of October through December • Regular and timely attendance at scheduled virtual meetings • Ability to manage agreed-upon work hours and meet project deadlines consistently • Communicates clearly, professionally, and graciously with team members and ministry partners • Collaborates effectively with marketing, photo/video, and other Forest Home teams • Able to receive creative direction and feedback with humility and professionalism • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and good judgment when representing the Forest Home brand • Proactively communicates questions, project updates, and potential challenges • Preferred experience with Canva • Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Premiere Pro • Preferred experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and/or Mailchimp • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite • Familiarity with creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn • Experience with graphic design for social media, flyers, presentations, and digital communications • Basic photography, videography, and/or video editing experience • Mild physical work, including some lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 20 pounds • Visual acuity to read words and numbers • Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person • Willingness to work in an environment with moderate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and unpleasant odors
