• Establish, lead, maintain, and expand Clinical FSP customer relationships • Oversee Clinical FSP delivery in alignment with agreements, customer strategy, and vision • Serve as primary and/or escalation point of contact for assigned global, multiregional, or complex regional FSP partnerships • Coordinate with Operational Leaders, Functional Heads, Finance, Business Development, Pricing and Strategy, and Strategic Partnerships • Ensure delivery against MSAs and manage quality aspects including KPIs, milestones, quality audits, and rebates • Define customer strategy, manage risks, proactively escalate potential risks, and oversee timely, high-quality delivery • Collaborate on MSA negotiations and oversee clinical FSP service contract negotiations and change orders • Establish delivery models and support onboarding following new FSP service awards • Oversee partnership financial health, budget burn, contractual payment terms, margins, and monthly forecasting • Lead FSP Delivery team governance and oversight frameworks • Drive expansion of FSP service lines and partnership growth with Business Development • Lead RFIs, RFPs, bid defenses, and business development opportunities from a Clinical FSP Delivery perspective • Manage execution of FSP customer delivery team members • Support department-level initiatives including FSP strategy execution, new offering development, and process improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and/or Business Management, or relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements • Fluent in English, both written and verbal • 10 years’ relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical), or equivalent combination of education, training and experience • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in a health care or clinical research setting • Prior FSP experience • Thorough knowledge of the drug development process • Ability to lead independently global/multiregional FSP partnerships or large and/or complex regional FSP partnerships and a team of Senior Managers, Clinical Service Delivery • Strong executive presence, negotiation, communication, leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and presentation skills • Broad understanding of commercialization and deal terms and conditions associated with various FSP models • Ability to access and use a variety of in-house and off-the-shelf computer software • Regular and consistent attendance • Ability to meet physical requirements including stationary work, repetitive hand movements, occasional crouching/stooping, bending/twisting, and lifting/carrying 15–20 lbs • Willingness and ability to travel domestically, regionally, and globally 20–40% of the time, with overnight stays as required
