📋 Description

• Lead complex DAI/SSAI platform integrations from concept through launch • Build and own analytical frameworks using SQL, Databricks, and large-scale ad log datasets • Serve as a recognized technical authority across the full streaming ad delivery stack • Own high-severity technical investigations involving ad delivery, targeting, measurement, reporting, partner integrations, and revenue-impacting discrepancies • Drive issues from detection through root cause analysis, workarounds, resolution, and long-term prevention • Define implementation standards, ad call design patterns, QA expectations, troubleshooting playbooks • Maintain and evolve the FreeWheel ecosystem • Partner directly with yield, sales, product, engineering, and station teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions • Provide senior technical support to Fox Television Stations for O&O and non-O&O inventory design • Identify systemic product gaps and operational inefficiencies • Mentor other solutions engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in ad technology, streaming media, solutions engineering, technical operations, platform integrations, or a related technical function • Deep experience with video advertising and ad server platforms, particularly FreeWheel • Strong SQL fluency, including experience writing complex queries against large-scale event-level datasets • Working knowledge of SSAI/DAI architecture, including player behavior, stitcher logic, mediation layers, ad decisioning, tracking events, and live/VOD/FAST delivery workflows • Strong understanding of streaming ad signal design • Experience working with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar environments • Comfort using technical tools such as APIs, cURL, Postman, JSON/XML, log analysis tools, dashboarding systems, and scripting or automation workflows • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end multi-party platform integrations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
