📋 Description

• Deliver sales and use tax services, including registrations and tax compliance, taxability decision matrices, voluntary disclosures, tax research, technical memorandums, client correspondence, nexus studies, refund recovery studies, and assistance with state sales tax audits • Apply complex tax and accounting concepts, work experience, and technical expertise to client situations • Serve as a thought leader in the F&D SALT practice and monitor developments affecting SALT clients • Participate in staff recruiting and supervise, mentor, and develop staff-level team members • Generate new business and develop the client base by identifying client needs and service offerings • Use strong oral and written communication skills and tax software and technology • Attend professional development and training seminars regularly

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 5+ years of progressive tax consulting experience in SALT • Strong technical expertise in multistate Sales and Use Tax • Exceptional client service and communication skills • Ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment • Computer expertise, including knowledge of tax software and technology • CPA, JD, CMI or Enrolled Agent preferred
