📋 Description

• Conduct research on diverse topics using internet sources, academic journals, and publicly available data • Present information through PowerPoint, written summaries, and spreadsheets • Prepare, edit, and format client-ready documents and supporting materials • Arrange and facilitate internal and client meetings, prepare agendas, and summarize follow-ups • Compile action items and report on completion • Formulate action plans with project leadership • Use project management tools, agile practices, and scrum strategies to advance project goals and timelines • Develop client-specific document management, organization, and operational processes • Manage complex projects with multiple workstreams • Develop, monitor, and report on project budgets, staffing resources, deadlines, workplans, and timelines • Draft and compile invoicing materials • Report project progress to the Project Director • Identify and propose strategies to mitigate project risks • Ensure deliverables are scoped, documented, and vetted with project team members and the Project Director • Develop deliverable schedules with project team members • Support development of written deliverables, slide decks, spreadsheets, tables, business requirements, and analytic plans • Contribute to RFPs and bid proposals • Perform literature reviews and translate results into clear findings • Coordinate communications among clients, FHC project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders • Conform to FHC data governance principles and participate in internal development and knowledge-gathering activities

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing complex projects, preferably in health policy, healthcare reform, analytic data projects, or health data strategy • Bachelor’s degree • Master’s degree in a related field or current project management certification (PMP, Agile, Disciplined Agile) • Excellent self-motivation and time management skills for remote work • Experience creating and executing step-by-step work plans • Strong interpersonal, organizational, task-management, and follow-through skills • Excellent written communication across emails, meeting summaries, action items, slide decks, and other formats • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel • Knowledge of or interest in healthcare data, public healthcare payers, US healthcare policy and law • Ability to assign tasks and monitor completion by others • Ability to execute assignments with minimal direct supervision • Meeting facilitation expertise, including agenda development, discussion framing, issue prioritization, open-issues identification, and action-item creation • Ability to prioritize tasks and provide timely email responses • Ability to produce client-ready documents and materials, including editing and formatting • Familiarity with cloud-based project management tools • Experience developing Gantt charts, project timelines, and budgets • Knowledge of or interest in multi-payer databases, public healthcare payers, claims processing, or claims data analytics • Ability to maintain professionalism in internal and external meetings • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
