📋 Description
• Prepare and file federal and Texas business tax returns • Ensure compliance with Texas franchise tax requirements • Prepare year-end financial statements • Review and reconcile bookkeeping records • Advise on tax planning strategies and deductions • Assist with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions • Review payroll tax filings and compliance • Support audits and tax notices as needed • Provide financial guidance to ownership and leadership
🎯 Requirements
• Active CPA license preferred (Accountants with extensive tax experience will be considered) • Strong knowledge of Texas tax law, including franchise tax requirements • Experience with multi-company organizations • Experience with healthcare, staffing, or service-based businesses preferred • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online • Strong understanding of payroll tax compliance • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
