📋 Description

• Lead the company's global accounting organization • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial reporting • Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets, Revenue Accounting, and Treasury Accounting • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process • Prepare internal financial statements and management reports • Oversee consolidation of domestic and international entities • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting standards • Maintain accounting policies and procedures across business units • Design, implement, and improve internal controls • Coordinate annual financial statement audits and liaise with external auditors • Manage relationships with tax advisors and support corporate tax compliance • Ensure federal, state, local, and international reporting compliance • Lead accounting policy research and implementation of new accounting standards • Ensure proper application of ASC 606 across managed services contracts • Partner with Sales Operations and Legal on contract review • Develop revenue-recognition processes for recurring revenue, implementation projects, and professional services • Monitor deferred revenue and contract asset/liability balances • Drive accounting-process automation through ERP and financial systems • Improve workflows through technology and AI-enabled solutions • Establish scalable processes supporting company growth • Lead ERP enhancements and financial systems implementations • Improve reconciliation, reporting, and close efficiency • Oversee cash management and daily liquidity • Improve working capital metrics and cash forecasting • Partner with AR leadership to reduce DSO • Monitor AP processes and vendor payment strategies • Partner with FP&A on forecasting, financial analysis, and budgeting • Participate in pricing, operational improvement, and profitability initiatives • Support executive leadership with financial analysis and recommendations • Support financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions • Lead accounting integration activities • Standardize acquired companies’ accounting policies and reporting • Integrate acquired companies into ERP and reporting systems • Assist with purchase accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • CPA/CA required • 12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience • 5+ years managing accounting teams • Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed organizations preferred • Managed Services, SaaS, Technology Services, or Professional Services industry experience strongly preferred • Multi-entity and international accounting experience • Experience leading external audits • Experience with acquisitions and post-merger integration • ERP implementation experience preferred • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge • ASC 606 Revenue Recognition • Financial consolidations • Internal controls • Audit management • Treasury management • Technical accounting research • Financial systems expertise (NetSuite, or similar) • Advanced Excel and financial reporting tools • Business intelligence platforms (Power BI preferred) • Executive presence • High integrity • Strong business acumen and operational excellence • Continuous improvement mindset • Collaborative leadership and ability to lead through change • Exceptional communication skills • Analytical and data-driven decision-making • Applicants must indicate whether they now or will in the future require visa sponsorship
