📋 Description

• Work closely with the MI Project Management team to deliver high-quality Synapse product solutions • Act as the lead technical resource for MI implementation projects • Specify and deploy third-party hardware and software infrastructure • Design, set up, deploy, and troubleshoot vSphere, storage, network, and disaster recovery infrastructure • Plan and deploy Synapse MI solutions, including Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, Synapse EIS, Synapse 3D, Synapse Mobility, and Synapse VNA • Complete existing-customer projects, infrastructure hardware refreshes, data migrations, architecture changes, and redeployments • Integrate Synapse MI products with third-party healthcare IT systems such as dictation, EMR, Citrix, and EIS • Follow internal project communication guidelines using provided tools • Develop extensive customer-specific solution design and best-practice documentation • Learn new Synapse and third-party products, often with limited training • Participate in the Subject Matter Expert program • Perform duties in accordance with company quality, regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements • Pass vendor credentialing requirements to access hospitals and facilities

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years’ experience in Healthcare Information Technology • 5-10 years full time experience working with Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems (2008/2012/2016/Windows 10) in a technical capacity • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or Associate’s degree with significant on-the-job experience in a hospital, Cardiology or Radiology setting in a senior technical or managerial role • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills • Thorough knowledge of PACS and Clinical Information Systems for Cardiology, Radiology, and related services including workflow • Working knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery implementation • Advanced systems design, architecture, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting skills • Expert level knowledge in vSphere products, specifically ESXi and Site Recovery Manager • Expert level knowledge in storage infrastructure design, deployment and troubleshooting • Firm knowledge of overall network design and security • Familiarity with clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces, including DICOM, HL7, and XML • Ability to meet physical requirements, including sitting, keyboard use, standing, talking, hearing, lifting and close vision • Ability to travel occasionally, up to 25%, based on business needs • Must comply with vendor credentialing requirements, including applicable facility vaccine requirements • Must comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 requirements, and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards
