📋 Description

• Act as the Single Point of Contact for a portfolio of non-performing assets • Contact customers, attorneys, realtors, and other authorized parties regarding delinquent accounts • Negotiate and complete loss mitigation alternatives to minimize foreclosure losses • Handle mortgage products that are 90+ days delinquent or have requested loss mitigation • Educate customers on options to resolve delinquencies • Discuss loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu, cash for keys, consents to judgment, and other loss mitigation options • Analyze borrowers’ financial situations and recommend and initiate appropriate loss mitigation tools • Conduct light skip-tracing activities • Review title searches for lien-related title issues • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Review and update daily reports and accounts • Meet monthly individual and team goals and key performance indicators

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Associate's degree preferred • Two to four years of related experience and/or training required • GSE loss mitigation experience preferred, especially FHLMC and FNMA loss mitigation • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to multitask and consistently meet multiple deadlines • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to use good judgment • Strong customer consulting and advising skills by telephone and written communication • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos • Ability to write simple correspondence • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and calculate rates, ratios, and percentages • Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to detailed written or oral instructions • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Fiserv preferred • Some travel may be required
