📋 Description

• Deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion • Teach the school curriculum on the district virtual platform • Attend district professional development and faculty meetings • Record student progress • Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students • Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment • Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships • Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum • Track student grades and performance • Select jobs through the educator portal according to certification and availability

🎯 Requirements

• New Jersey Certification as a Teacher of American Sign Language (ASL) or appropriate New Jersey World Languages certification with an ASL endorsement (required) • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Must currently hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certification in one of the specified areas • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator • Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university • Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access • Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration • Submit a background check as part of the application process • Prior online teaching experience is a plus
