📋 Description

• Report to the Director of Security Engineering as a key member of the Information Security Team • Ensure comprehensive security testing on all company applications using vendors and internal testing • Manage testing scheduling and a portfolio of multiple company entities • Coordinate security testing, including penetration testing and architecture reviews, before applications go live • Lead the Static Scanning (SAST) service and triage results for development-team remediation • Write security policies and procedures • Identify opportunities for improvement and automation • Communicate with and train Security Champions to shift security left • Work with development teams to remediate and retest findings until closure • Track applications to ensure required testing depth and cadence • Maintain and monitor Web Application Firewall (WAF) events and alerts • Participate in the on-call roster, including hours outside normal business hours • Provide security recommendations on design, application development, and coding

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of computing, networking, and cloud computing • Working knowledge of computing, networking, and cloud computing • Excellent communication skills • Ability to provide security recommendations on design, application development, and coding • Strong technical skills in Linux and Windows operating systems • Scripting experience with languages such as Python • Experience with application and infrastructure security as code • Ingenuity and strong problem-solving skills for addressing network threats and flaws • Familiarity with agile development processes • Experience integrating secure development practices into agile projects • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations including CIS, OWASP, HITRUST, and ISO • BS degree in Computer Science or related field • AWS certification at Associate and/or Specialty level preferred • OSCP, GWAPT, or GPEN certifications preferred • At least 4 years' relevant experience in the cybersecurity industry • Ability to travel within the U.S. on an irregular basis if required; posting also states minimal travel • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship or transfer available • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods and perform specified physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects up to 20 pounds • Ability to effectively communicate verbally, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details
