📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, reporting, and data requirements • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, report specifications, and data mappings • Define SSRS report requirements including fields, parameters, filters, calculations, grouping, sorting, and business rules • Partner with developers to support development and enhancement of SSRS reports and SSIS/ETL processes • Analyze source and target data and develop source-to-target mapping documentation • Use SQL queries to research data, validate report results, reconcile discrepancies, and support root-cause analysis • Document data transformation and validation rules for SSIS processes • Work with business and technical teams to understand database tables, views, stored procedures, data relationships, and system interfaces • Develop test scenarios and test cases and perform functional, integration, regression, and data-validation testing • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business sign-off • Investigate production reporting and data issues and coordinate resolution across business, development, and database teams • Maintain requirements traceability and ensure delivered solutions meet approved business requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar technical role • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) • Working knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL/data-integration concepts • Strong SQL/T-SQL skills • Experience developing report specifications, business requirements, data mappings, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Experience with source-to-target mapping and data-transformation requirements • Strong understanding of relational databases and data relationships • Experience performing report and data validation, defect management, and UAT • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSDT, Visual Studio, and T-SQL • Knowledge of stored procedures, views, functions, and complex SQL queries • Experience with Power BI, data warehousing, or business intelligence solutions • Fully remote options from Contiguous US locations only • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and during the initial week of orientation • Photo will be taken during screening for verification in all steps of the recruitment process • Must join screenings, interviews, and meetings from a quiet location with a stable internet connection • Video is required for screenings and interviews • Must not use AI tools, virtual backgrounds/filters, or visual enhancements during the interview
