• Teach in School Psychology, Psychology, or Behavioral Health Science within the prescribed curriculum online and on-ground • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within School Psychology, Psychology, or Behavioral Health Science, meeting the required course load requirements • Utilize best practices pedagogy during instruction • Assess learners through formative and summative practices • Support the School Psychology Program through course development, course revisions, development and revision of program student handbook, and practicum and internship student experience • Support the accreditation process for the School Psychology Program from Candidacy status to full accreditation • Support administrative aspects related to maintaining School Psychology accreditation • Remain current with new trends and developments in School Psychology and the behavioral health fields • Other duties as assigned
• Doctoral degree • Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist • Three to five years of experience serving as a School Psychologist • Specialized knowledge of the School Psychology discipline • Evidence of involvement in professional area (e.g., membership in professional organizations, presentations, research, and/or publications) • Must successfully pass a background check • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University • Bonus: Teaching experience at a college level preferred • Previous supervisory/management experience
