📋 Description

• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for CMM data products and analytics • Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mappings, workflows, and data requirements documentation • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, working sessions, and governance meetings • Capture decisions and action items • Translate statutory, operational, and reporting needs into user stories and acceptance criteria • Support data governance coordination and alignment with standards, policies, and stewardship decisions • Partner with data engineers and architects to validate data models, transformations, and reporting logic • Incorporate data classification, security, and access control considerations into requirements • Support test planning, result validation, and user acceptance testing • Produce and maintain Agile artifacts, including backlogs, user stories, and traceability matrices • Contribute to metadata catalog ingestion by defining business definitions and data attributes • Support training, documentation, and communication for CMM data product users • Maintain audit-ready, version-controlled, SOW-compliant documentation • Operate in an Agile federal delivery environment supporting multiple scrum teams • Collaborate with business owners, data engineers, architects, and governance teams • Ensure requirements accuracy, traceability, documentation quality, and timely deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• MA/MS degree with 5+ years or BS/BA degree with 7+ years of general experience in information systems and 5+ years of specialized experience • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Experience assisting with testing, writing acceptance criteria, and confirming test case results • Experience producing current requirements, sizing user stories, and removing roadblocks before sprint starts • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT or data programs • Experience supporting cloud data platforms, analytics, or data initiatives • Strong expertise in requirements management, data analysis, and documentation • Experience working in federal or regulated environments is a plus • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience supporting federal judiciary or justice-related programs • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS S3/Redshift/QuickSight • Experience supporting statutory or compliance-driven reporting • Mentoring or lead-analyst experience • Experience with SQL for read-only analysis • Experience with STTM and data mapping tools • Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight • Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation • Familiarity with cloud-based data platform architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, or data warehouses • Familiarity with data engineering, integration, migration, archiving, disaster recovery, and related tools and services • Preferred certifications: CBAP or CCBA, PMI-PBA, or SAFe Agilist • Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills • Ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders and build customer relationships • Experience identifying and applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
