📋 Description

• Administer and maintain database systems supporting AAO applications • Support Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL platforms • Apply database design, development, and integration principles • Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, provision, secure, patch, back up, and recover enterprise database systems • Support mission-critical database management systems • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database problems with other DBAs • Support high-availability and disaster-recovery database architectures • Respond to trouble tickets within required SLA times • Participate in an on-call DBA rotation • Work in a fast-paced team environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience; equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree • 6–8 years of Database Administrator experience • US citizenship required • Ability to obtain the relevant clearance required • NACI (T1) public trust requirement • Skills in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and Oracle SQL • Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases • Experience supporting mission-critical database management systems • Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, migrating, provisioning, securing, patching, backing up, and recovering enterprise database systems • Experience with Unix, PowerShell, or another scripting language • Experience configuring and supporting MS SQL Availability Groups (AGs), Distributed Availability Groups (DAGs), Oracle Data Guard, and MySQL master-slave replication • Demonstrated experience using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and MS T-SQL • Experience with Red Hat Linux and MS Windows operating systems on VMware • Schedule flexibility for on-call DBA rotation and SLA response requirements • Good communication, presentation, documentation, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
