📋 Description

• Develop, plan, and write compliant and compelling proposal content • Serve as Volume Lead and/or Lead Writer for management sections of proposals ranging from $100M to $1B+ • Support GDIT Capture Managers and Proposal Managers in planning and developing proposal win themes • Identify discriminators, benefits, and key features of technical and management solutions • Work with Subject Matter Experts and operations staff to collect data for past performance development • Write, edit, and revise proposal materials • Coordinate with technical and program personnel to ensure accuracy • Analyze RFP requirements and participate in color team reviews • Provide guidance, mentoring, and work leadership to less experienced proposal writers • Participate in continuing quality improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of federal proposal writing for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience • Bachelor’s Degree; in lieu of degree, 4+ additional years of work experience, training, education and/or certifications will be considered • Experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Management Writer • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience developing technical and management volumes • APMP Certification preferred • PMP Certification preferred • No clearance required • US citizenship not required
