📋 Description

• lead direct reports, sub-disciplines, and contractors • accountable to the Engineering Manager-PEM/Civil Engineering team to meet department KPI’s and the performance of their team • optimized resource planning, recruiting and hiring, retention, annual performance coaching, salary & bonus planning and communication, continuous quality improvement, training, and development plans for civil engineers • guide and direct lead civil engineers at project launching phase & during project execution, engineering process follow up • ensure the proper management of interfaces with partners and main suppliers • develop quality procedures, processes, and organizes knowledge capitalization to improve engineering efficiency • accountable for civil engineering design budgets, schedule adherence, technical change orders, and quality on ongoing projects • support the proposal team with resources, technical validation, engineering work scope & labor hours review, execution plan, and statement of clarifications, assumptions, and exceptions based on customer RFP, specifications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university • 15+ years of experience with high voltage substation civil/structural design including EPC projects • 5+ years of experience leading a substation civil engineering team • Professional Engineering License in the United States and willingness to review & seal drawings • Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, including international, and must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (preferred) • 5+ years of experience managing civil engineers, including resource loading, performance reviews, recruiting/hiring, training/development plans, and salary planning (preferred) • Project Management experience on power systems EPC projects (preferred)
