📋 Description
• Drive Commodity Strategy: Develop and execute category strategies that align with Gas Power objectives, ensuring a robust pipeline of high-performing, cost-competitive, and reliable suppliers. • Negotiate & Influence: Lead complex contract negotiations, securing optimal commercial terms while mitigating risk. • Performance Optimization: Actively manage supplier performance across the SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) spectrum. • Lead Process Innovation: Identify and spearhead process improvements to increase sourcing efficiency and supply chain resiliency. • Technical Stewardship: Build deep subject matter expertise in fluid commodities, serving as a technical advisor to engineering and project teams. • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field • 5+years of experience in fluid systems in the gas power industry • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial engineering context • Extensive experience with developing sourcing strategies and negotiating contracts
