📋 Description

• Perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems • Install medical equipment • Troubleshoot and repair life-changing medical equipment • Support Anesthesia, Maternal Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology equipment • Maintain customer relationships • Communicate timely with customers and resolve issues to drive customer satisfaction • Follow company policies, procedures, hospital protocols, and regulatory and compliance requirements • Document all work performed, including parts ordering

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, participation in the formal GE Healthcare Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Valid Driver’s License • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available • Successful completion of GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test • Compliance with customer access policies, including required immunizations and potentially additional drug tests or background checks • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex and extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends • Experience in Anesthesia, Maternal Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology is a plus
