📋 Description

• Perform on-time and accurate preventative maintenance on one or more equipment modalities • Follow Field Modification Instructions and Instrument Service Information bulletins • Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation • Learn and perform basic troubleshooting and service repairs on designated equipment • Communicate and partner with teammates, colleagues, and customers to resolve issues and ensure follow-up • Recommend value-added services to help customers operate efficiently • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records • Order repair parts and manage cycle times • Use the GEHC escalation process and work with regional and national support on corrective action plans • Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts • Engage commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, and participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals • Promote and implement revenue programs • Build and enhance customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction • Monitor competitor information and market trends • Answer service calls independently within one year of employment • Take emergency service calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed • Complete planned Quality, EHS, and Compliance activities

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Experience with Web applications and Microsoft suite of products • Successful completion of GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test • Compliance with customer access policies, including required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable • Legal authorization to work in the United States • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas • Valid driver's license • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Required vision abilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception • Willingness to work after hours or a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends • Compliance with GEHC quality, health and safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
