📋 Description

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned equipment • Perform installation, validation, and maintenance on assigned equipment • Lead, instruct, and assist less experienced Field Engineers; provide coaching and feedback • Lead customer communications and serve as escalation point for customer-related concerns, including installations • Own customer issues from dispatch or identification through resolution • Communicate HQ and Zone or Area-level initiatives • Co-lead regular team or modality meetings as required • Recommend value-added services to help customers operate more efficiently • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records; order repair parts and manage cycle times • Use the GEHC escalation process and partner with regional and national support to implement corrective action plans • Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts and engage commercial counterparts • Identify sales leads, participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals, and support revenue programs • Build customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence • Monitor competitor information and market trends • Collaborate with Commercial Sales teams and region/zone leadership to support business growth • Assist the Area Service Manager or Director of Service with growth and deployment strategies • Provide application training to clinical or scientific staff on designated equipment when required

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment • Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment • Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns • Experience with web applications and Microsoft suite of products • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available • Successful completion of GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test • Compliance with customer access policies, including required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and sit and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex or extend neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends • Must have a valid Driver’s License
