📋 Description

• Inspect damage in repair shops, salvage yards, customers’ homes, or virtual estimating environments • Estimate repair costs • Negotiate settlements • Issue payments • Provide excellent customer service • Service boat, motorcycle, RV, and other specialty claims • Complete paid training in physical damage adjusting • Directly assist customers after accidents or major disasters

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in New York City, NY • Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines • Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits • Willingness to be flexible with primary work location; position may require remote or field work • Solid computer skills • Mechanical aptitude • Multi-tasking skills • Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent • College degree or currently pursuing preferred • At this time, GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
