📋 Description

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close • Account for digital asset transactions, customer custodial funds, revenue recognition and other areas • Analyze fluctuations and trends in financial statement line items and provide insightful commentary • Assist with the preparation of annual and quarterly footnote disclosures • Support internal and external audit requests, providing timely documentation and analyses • Identify process improvements and help implement scalable accounting practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and account for new transaction types • Contribute to special projects, as needed

🎯 Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance or related field • 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally including public accounting and/or industry experience • Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus • CPA (or equivalent license) • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements • Experience with fintech, digital assets, financial services a strong plus (but not required) • Experience managing numerous competing deliverables • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and ownership of complex areas • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced and changing financial environment • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
