📋 Description

• Deliver virtual primary care visits via video and other telehealth modalities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of adult acute and chronic conditions • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans • Provide patient education and clinical guidance • Coordinate care with specialists, care coordinators, and external providers as needed • Support patients across the continuum of care, from initial consultation through follow-up • Document accurately and efficiently in Athena EMR and internal systems • Adhere to all telehealth regulations, prescribing guidelines, and state-specific requirements • Escalate care appropriately based on clinical need

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution • Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine • Active, unrestricted DEA license • Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states • Eligible for or participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact preferred • 3+ years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care or related fields • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of patient needs • Comfort practicing independently in a virtual care setting • Excellent communication skills and strong virtual bedside manner • Proficiency with EHR systems; Athena experience preferred • Prior telehealth or virtual care experience preferred • Experience managing adult patients across preventive, acute, and chronic care preferred • Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment preferred • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams preferred • Multistate licensure across high-volume states preferred • Physicians must maintain active licensure in the states where care is delivered
