📋 Description

• Supervise GE Vernova blade repair contractor teams • Perform blade repairs and inspections at laydown yards • Ensure compliance with safety policies, protocols, PPE requirements, and applicable standards • Foster proactive safety actions and conduct on-site risk assessments • Respond to safety events in coordination with EHS, Operations, HR, and other GE Vernova functions • Supervise or execute repair procedures to uphold quality standards • Verify checklists and adherence to procedures • Adjust repair pacing based on job phases and weather conditions • Ensure teams have required parts, tooling, materials, procedures, and PPE • Facilitate communication between site teams and GE Vernova EHS, HR, and Engineering functions • Manage daily operations and team performance against targets • Undertake repair tasks directly when teams cannot complete them • Align with the Site Manager on operations and project delivery • Serve as the primary site contact for repair teams and provide repair-progress updates • Maintain transparent and timely project communication • Maintain current training and certifications • Keep accurate records of site activities and progress • Use Microsoft Office and Smartsheet for reporting and coordination • Communicate daily with the GE Vernova Site and Project Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited university, OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in blade repairs • Minimum of 2 years of experience in blade repairs • Ability and willingness to travel between Pawnee and Garden City laydown yards • Current training and certifications equivalent to a regular technician • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet • Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively • Strong communication and coordination skills • Leadership and team motivation skills • Proactive problem-solving capabilities • Adaptability to changing work environments and conditions • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards • Customer service and client relationship management skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
