đź“‹ Description

• Provide on-site technical direction to customer-owned utility and industrial power plants for steam turbine generator systems • Review plant engineering documents and P&IDs • Troubleshoot plant systems and equipment • Plan, organize, integrate, and direct labor, tools, and materials to complete contractual work scopes • Safely manage maintenance and repair of power-generation equipment • Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities • Install systems and equipment on site • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation • Respond to emergency repair and service requests • Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives • Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and prepare job-status, customer, timesheet, and expense reports • Sign off on implemented changes • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance checkout for equipment of varying vintages • Prepare technical reports for customer records and future outages • Ensure required parts are shipped to the site • Perform site-level aftermarket upgrades • Supervise critical tasks performed by third parties, including measuring and dimensional checks • Proactively support the Steam Power vision and organizational core values • Travel primarily within the U.S. and Canada, with possible international travel

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university with a 3.0 or higher GPA, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in Field Services or power generation equipment maintenance • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of pre-employment background investigation and drug screening • Successful completion of formal, periodic, classroom, and laboratory training as required for employment • Experience working on customer sites (desired) • Understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Controlling Parameters or Steam Boiler Operational Principles (desired) • Skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams (desired) • Dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment knowledge (desired) • Technically oriented, fast learner, and self-starter (desired)
