• Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities • Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment • Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation • Respond to emergency repair and service requests for troublesome equipment • Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives at customer sites • Write technical reports and customer reports • Order materials and secure quotations • Prepare job status reports, timesheets, and expense sheets • Sign off on all implemented changes • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment vintages • Prepare accurate technical reports for customer records and future outages • Ensure all required parts are shipped to the site • Perform aftermarket upgrades at the site level • Supervise critical tasks performed by third parties, including measuring and dimensional checks
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university with a 3.0 or higher GPA, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in Field Services or power generation equipment maintenance • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time • Experience working on customer sites is desired • Technically oriented, fast learner, and self-starter • Strong understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Controlling Parameters or Steam Boiler Operational Principles is desired • Strong technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams is desired • Knowledge of dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment is desired • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable, is required as a condition of employment
