📋 Description

• Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities • Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation • Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services for troublesome equipment • Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites • Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and prepare job status reports, customer reports, timesheets, and expense sheets • Sign off on all implemented changes • Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment vintages • Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and future outages • Ensure all parts needed for jobs are shipped to the site • Perform aftermarket upgrades at the site level • Supervise critical tasks performed by third parties, including measuring and dimensional checks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university with a 3.0 or higher GPA, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in a Field Services or power generation equipment maintenance role • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time • Experience working on customer sites • Technically oriented, fast-learner, self-starter with ability to work with little direction • Willingness to perform self-study and work in a self-directed manner • Solid understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Controlling Parameters or Steam Boiler Operational Principals • Strong technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams • Knowledge of dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
