• Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes. • Define global process and equipment standards and deploy them across Aero Alliance factories. • Define, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks and calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and technical and technology training. • Validate engineering specifications and shop-floor application of new processes with EHS, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Industrialization, and Sourcing. • Partner with channels on new repair processes and qualifications. • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using FMEA and Root Cause Analysis. • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams on preventive and predictive programs. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime and improve quality processes. • Lead failure and chronic-issue investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. • Provide technical support for asset management, equipment lifecycle analysis, and spare-parts optimization. • Train local factory manufacturing engineers. • Participate in new equipment design and installation and process implementation, applying Design for Reliability. • Interpret business challenges and recommend practices to improve products, processes, or services. • Lead functional teams or projects and influence stakeholders on complex manufacturing and engineering topics. • Engage DFSS, measure machine capability, analyze process requirements, and develop process-yield strategies. • Deploy lean principles including 3P, Total Productive Maintenance, Jidoka, PQ/PR, Takt Cycle, Standard Work, Value Stream Maps, Kaizen, 4D/8D/A3 Problem Solving, and Poka Yoke.
• For U.S. candidates: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. • For non-U.S. candidates: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience. • For U.S. candidates: 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality. • For U.S. candidates: 5+ years in a technical role such as manufacturing engineer, with expertise in Aeroderivative, Aircraft Engine, or Gas Turbine Testing and Balancing. • For non-U.S. candidates: Significant industrial experience in manufacturing or quality. • For non-U.S. candidates: Significant experience in a technical role with expertise in Aeroderivative, Aircraft Engine, or Gas Turbine Testing and Balancing. • Strong/proven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes. • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics. • Project management skills and experience. • Fluency in English in writing and speaking. • Knowledge of DFSS and lean manufacturing methodologies. • Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis. • Experience with 3P, Total Productive Maintenance, Jidoka, PQ/PR, Takt Cycle, Standard Work, Value Stream Maps, Kaizen, 4D/8D/A3 Problem Solving, and Poka Yoke. • GE Vernova will only employ candidates legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable. • Approximately 25% travel.
