đź“‹ Description

• Ensure quality and compliance of construction, building, and commissioning activities on customer sites from mobilization through civil, erection, and commissioning work • Maintain and verify implementation of site quality plans to meet contractual, legal, and internal requirements • Schedule and conduct site audits based on contractual requirements and customer needs • Work with site contractors to ensure tasks are understood and performed according to local and city/state requirements • Coordinate with the Site Manager to ensure scheduled completion with appropriate checks and documentation • Coordinate and report on site quality activities and related quality interfaces • Maintain communication and alignment with clients, project teams, subcontractors, quality engineers, and site managers • Check that customer requirements are determined, reviewed, and considered in site activities • Inform customers about site quality issues and progress according to contractual requirements • Communicate and document customer site requests and complaints • Prepare, implement, and update Site Quality Plans • Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and contract requirements • Monitor Inspection and Test Plans and participate in site inspections and tests • Manage site quality activities, interfaces, and reviews with customers, internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors • Organize and participate in site inspections and quality audits • Deliver quality communication, awareness sessions, and training on site • Manage deviation/non-conformance follow-up tables and snag lists • Participate in deviation analysis, problem solving, and corrective actions • Monitor and communicate progress against site quality objectives • Plan, organize, and run monthly site quality reviews • Verify and document that received materials conform to approved submittals and are properly handled, stored, and acceptable for project use • Coordinate with Supply Chain regarding insurance claims for transport damages or losses • Inform the Site Manager and jointly stop work when necessary to resolve safety or quality issues or work impediments • Identify and collect quality records from internal teams and subcontractors • Review inspection reports and quality records for compliance, acceptance criteria, recorded values, tolerances, calibration status, and validations • Assemble and forward site closeout documents for O&M manuals • Establish and share site Returns of Experience with the Project Manager and Regional Quality Management • Provide subcontractors with quality-related Returns of Experience • Lead site execution with respect to quality and manage project scope execution • Ensure equipment and construction quality complies with contractual obligations, company policy, and local regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Construction, quality management, or Engineering discipline; Electrical Engineering preferred, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, or equivalent • 5+ years of experience in site management and commissioning, substation construction, or project execution within utility, electrical substation, or related industrial environments • Experience developing and implementing Site Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans for HV turnkey projects • Experience in quality management, quality assurance, and quality control • Experience leading quality activities in EPC projects • Ability to conduct internal and second-party ISO 9001 audits; ISO 9001 experience appreciated • Microsoft Office, document control systems, non-conformance management systems, SAP, and similar IT tools • English is a must • Equivalent hands-on field leadership experience may come from site management, electrical construction, substation operations, or similar technical trades leadership with deep understanding of electrical design • Relevant field credentials such as Journeyman status, Master Electrician license, OSHA 30, or similar site-based certifications are highly valued • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors in fast-paced field environments • Experience supporting or overseeing electrical substation upgrades, expansions, or new-build projects • Strong understanding of safety, lockout/tagout, and EHS expectations on customer sites • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Established project or site management skills • PMP certification is a plus • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Willingness to travel 90% across North America
