📋 Description

• Contribute to engineering assessment and disposition of boiler components • Lead and complete non-destructive projects in the field supporting engineering analysis of high-energy and low-temperature components • Conduct and document field assessment results • Close out field results with customers • Establish subject-matter expertise in basic non-destructive disciplines and working knowledge of advanced methods • Set up and calibrate NDT testing equipment • Conduct NDT tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities • Establish examination techniques while adhering to safety regulations • Apply testing criteria according to applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results • Organize and report test results • Perform specialized inspections • Instruct and supervise subcontractors as needed • Provide technical leadership and mentor NDT staff • Interface daily with clients about work priorities and provide daily progress reports • Participate in client programs, planning, and strategy sessions • Explain NDT techniques and results to non-NDT personnel • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma in Technical Discipline from Trade School, Vocational, or Military Program and 2 years of related experience using NDT Techniques in Power Generation, Industrial, or Manufacturing environment, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of related experience using NDT Techniques in Power Generation, Industrial, or Manufacturing environment • Minimum 2 years of experience effectively performing assigned NDT tasks and interpreting inspection results • Valid Driver’s License • Fluent in English • NDT Level II Certification desired; UT, MT, and PT Certifications are a plus • In-depth knowledge and field experience with NDT discipline in customer-site applications • Level II certification in MT, PT, and UT and ability to meet company certification standards • Experience with automated and computerized NDT equipment • Demonstrated work history supporting customers and producing final reports • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and engineering drawings • Code shooting capabilities • Exceptional safety and quality awareness • Exceptional attention to detail • Team working • Mechanical aptitude • Willingness and ability to travel • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as assigned and required by field projects • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
