• Manage costing, planning, coordination and execution of nuclear field services projects • Support proposal development and contract negotiation • Open projects in the ERP system • Serve as subject matter expert for installation and maintenance services during the R process • Attend pre-proposal and negotiation meetings • Develop project scope, schedules, loadboard, JCE, tooling, quotes, parts, resources and deliverables • Plan job sites and outages before mobilization • Generate JIS, labor and specialty service requests • Coordinate design engineering, customer coordination and pre-site work • Coordinate Lean Outage Risk and Protectivity workshops • Request internal and external purchase orders • Develop and complete GE OneEHS plans before mobilization and upon site mobilization • Develop outage work-order task plans considering safety, equipment, parts, tooling, specialty services and resources • Manage project costs and ongoing estimates to completion • Plan and manage project schedules and payment milestones, including contingency planning • Manage risks, opportunities and mitigation plans • Resolve safety, quality, FME, NCR, parts, engineering, controls and commercial issues during execution • Provide accurate management reports for assigned projects • Secure technical and financial project authorization • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders • Manage the Scope Change Authorization process • Provide project leadership from conception through delivery and conduct project feedback reviews • Complete field services reports, engineering change documentation, POR documents, project closeout, best-practice, lessons-learned and operating-experience summaries • Attend training seminars as needed • Promote GE products during customer presentations and events • Maintain relationships with customers, peers, engineering and global teams
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college, or 10 years of relevant related work experience • 5+ years of relevant project management experience within the power generation or industrial manufacturing industry • 5+ years of relevant commercial and negotiation experience • Proficient in the English language • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear power facility in Canada, Mexico or the United States • Ability to travel up to 50% annually within Canada, Mexico, domestically and internationally • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required • Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day, climb 3 flights of stairs 3 times a day, and climb ladders as required • Knowledge of PMP concepts and processes • Experience with Steam Power systems in a Nuclear, Fossil or Gas power plant setting • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and working knowledge of Primavera P6 • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for technical and business audiences • Ability to work successfully in a matrix environment and manage multiple assignments and priorities
