Gifted Savings is a nonprofit organization that gifts $1,000 investment portfolios to high school seniors and provides short, real-time financial education so students can learn to track and manage investments. The program gives students ownership of real assets that they unlock at age 18, aiming to increase financial inclusion, confidence, and lifelong asset-building among young adults. Gifted Savings operates as a 501(c)(3) charity that raises donations to fund student portfolios and partners with schools to run its program.

📋 Description

• Own and integrate Gifted Savings’ core operating functions. • Partner closely with the Executive Director to translate organizational vision into clear operating strategy. • Anticipate and proactively address operational, financial, and regulatory risks. • Manage the organization’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. • Lead all aspects of legal, regulatory, and compliance strategy. • Build lightweight, effective systems, workflows, and cross-functional processes. • Oversee HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team development.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations, finance, or general management. • Strong financial leader with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. • Experience navigating legal, compliance, or regulatory environments (fintech, financial services, nonprofit). • Ability to translate big ideas into clear processes, structures, and execution. • Excited by the challenge of building something new at the intersection of social impact, technology, and financial infrastructure. • Both strategic and hands-on. • Exceptional communicator.
