📋 Description

• Own complex, end-to-end programs central to GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps strategy • Drive high-priority initiatives across product, engineering, data, and security teams • Transform strategic vision into executable plans delivering capabilities such as the GitLab Duo Agent Platform and next-generation developer tools • Lead the GitLab Duo Agent Platform from GA through enterprise adoption, including customer onboarding, support models, and billing integration • Deliver data-intensive platform initiatives that enhance developer productivity and enterprise analytics • Drive infrastructure modernization and scalability programs • Orchestrate security and compliance initiatives • Lead technical programs from initial scope through launch and continuous improvement • Collaborate with executive leaders and senior stakeholders to create roadmaps and align priorities and tradeoffs • Coordinate distributed teams across time zones using asynchronous communication • Maintain program plans, identify and mitigate risks and dependencies, and facilitate decisions balancing speed, quality, and customer impact • Partner with customer success and cross-functional teams on communication plans and operational workflows • Champion GitLab's values and culture within programs

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading technical program initiatives in product, engineering, data, or security environments • Demonstrated ability to define strategy and create clarity within extreme ambiguity • Strong background in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps technology companies • Ability to quickly master the GitLab platform and AI/ML initiatives • Proven experience influencing and driving impact at a division and company-wide scale • Experience partnering with engineering, product, and security teams and engaging with senior and C-level stakeholders • Outstanding communication skills, including asynchronous collaboration and executive reporting • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business impact • Track record of success in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving technical requirements and market opportunities • Strong facilitation and influence skills • Expertise in high-level stakeholder management, including communication with Executive Boards and enterprise Customers • Collaborative leadership style aligned with GitLab's values • Proven track record of redefining organizational operations and resolving highly complex, enterprise-level challenges • Proven experience leading complex reliability programs across multiple engineering organizations • Ability to act as a visionary leader, shaping R&D direction and fostering technical excellence • Candidates may come from consulting, enterprise technology, or technical leadership backgrounds
