• Join a small grantmaking team and execute ambitious research agendas • Analyze interventions and provide recommendations for cost-effectiveness • Build cost-effectiveness models to estimate costs and benefits of interventions • Review specific grantmaking opportunities and assess their potential • Tackle complex research questions and develop creative approaches • Build relationships with experts and publish findings on research
• Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, policy, public health) or a PhD with limited post-graduation experience • Passionate about helping improve global health and alleviate global poverty • Highly skilled at critically analyzing and synthesizing empirical research • Able to plan an efficient approach to exploring complicated questions • Effective communication of beliefs and uncertainties • Curiosity and openness to challenge own and others' work • Ability to execute lasting research
