• Shape ambitious research agendas that inform grantmaking decisions across the organization • Partner with grantmaking teams to pressure-test and extend their work • Conduct empirical evidence reviews and model cost-effectiveness • Mentor and advise junior researchers
• 5-10 years of post-grad work experience prior to joining GiveWell • Quantitatively oriented advanced degrees in relevant fields • Strong analytical and research skills • Experience with empirical tools for evidence-based decision making • Willingness to critically evaluate and improve research methodologies
