📋 Description

• Provide English-to-French legal translation and/or editing services • Deliver high-quality legal documentation translation and editing for a United States Government client • Apply strong legal, judicial, and technical terminology knowledge in English and French • Complete on-demand assignments as needed • Meet deadlines while maintaining written accuracy and quality • Work remotely during generally available Eastern Time business hours • Support U.S. government and private sector institutions through language services

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three years of professional experience providing legal translation and/or editing services • Native-level French writing skills and advanced proficiency in written English • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. legal, judicial, and technical terminology in English and French • Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language, linguistics, translation, or a comparable field • Experience using computer-assisted translation tools; Trados experience is preferred • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Applicants must be U.S. citizens • Must be willing to complete security clearance processing, including fingerprinting, if selected • Generally available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on most weekdays • Able to accept on-demand assignments totaling approximately 10 to 15 hours per week • Able to work from English to French
