📋 Description
• Support the Division of Field Studies and Engineering (DFSE) within NIOSH by performing data entry and basic industry and occupation coding functions • Accurately review and process narrative occupational data • Review and enter occupational and industry data into designated systems • Apply standardized coding instructions under supervision • Follow established procedures and government-provided guidelines • Perform basic quality checks for completeness and accuracy • Maintain data confidentiality and comply with federal data security requirements • Meet productivity and turnaround benchmarks
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent • 1+ year experience in data entry or clerical support • Strong attention to detail • Ability to follow structured procedures and written guidance • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
