📋 Description

• Build customer relationships through a consultative sales approach • Provide insurance quotes and use selling techniques to close sales • Support and consult customers on quoting, selling, and servicing insurance policies • Counsel customers on protection, coverage, billing, renewals, and endorsements • Deliver service across channels to improve customer retention and loyalty • Resolve customer complaints and seek management assistance when needed • Gather, process, consolidate, and analyze data to promote brand loyalty and retention • Monitor and maintain a closed-loop feedback process and schedule account follow-up • Establish professional relationships with other departments to enhance customer experience • Represent GM Insurance with a high degree of professional decorum • Execute specialty team processes and strategies assigned by GM Insurance leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Advanced knowledge of General Motors Insurance products, systems, policies, and procedures • Ability to influence customers through consultative, educational, and friendly selling and servicing • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including active listening • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment for customer inquiries and complaint resolution • Ability to manage time and assigned accounts/tasks with minimal supervision • Ability to navigate and use multiple applications and systems • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute • High degree of professionalism when interacting with customers, leaders, peers, and senior management • Fluent in English and Spanish • Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias • Experience integrating AI into workflows • Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation • Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection • Must hold a current Property and Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines license in at least one U.S. state • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 0–2 years of customer service experience preferred • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred • Candidates requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered
