📋 Description

• Lead large-scale WMS project deployments with more than 500 deliverables • Provide technical direction throughout the implementation lifecycle • Translate business needs and data insights into actionable requirements • Communicate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Develop business process models and detailed functional and non-functional requirements/user stories • Plan and design solutions and configure systems • Execute and manage user acceptance testing • Deliver training to super users and the broader workforce • Use WMS platforms, Excel, and database software to execute projects end to end • Analyze WMS and GMOS data to identify trends and solve complex problems • Design and implement automated data and reporting solutions • Apply industrial engineering and lean manufacturing principles to optimize material handling and warehouse operations • Map and evaluate automotive production and material handling processes • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through data-driven system enhancements • Influence stakeholders and drive alignment on transformation initiatives • Define and execute a strategic vision for end-to-end WMS transformation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials handling, warehousing business processes, systems and databases, industrial engineering, or manufacturing environments • Ability to work or rotate through all three shifts • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed • Demonstrated success configuring, testing, and deploying multiple WMS projects • Experience integrating WMS with AMR/AFT, ASRS, dock scan tunnels, RFID, drones, and other technologies in complex manufacturing environments • Proven project management experience, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently and in teams • Hands-on experience managing warehousing, distribution, and/or manufacturing operations • Strong foundation in industrial engineering, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to develop business process models and end-user documentation and training materials • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions • Ability to build and lead cross-functional teams and adapt to shifting priorities • High expertise with WMS systems, including Manhattan, SAP, or INFOR, is mandatory • High expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Flows, Power BI, and database tools • Ability to travel 30% or more based on business needs, domestically and internationally • Immigration sponsorship is not provided; candidates must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future
