• Teach online classes as needed in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters • Lead or participate in asynchronous online discussions with students • Instruct and supervise a diverse population of students • Support student engagement, student success, and instructional excellence • Use varied instructional delivery methods, classroom media, and educational resources • Grade all assignments and provide detailed, subject-specific feedback within five days of the due date • Respond to student emails and requests within 24 hours • Engage with students through electronic communications using a positive and professional tone • Maintain scholarly expertise in Economics or Mathematics • Assist with student recruitment and retention efforts • Adhere to Tiffin University policies and procedures • Assess and facilitate student progress through pre-built courses
• Master's degree or higher in course content area • Evidence of competence in the area of instruction • Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities • Ability or willingness to learn to manage class in an online learning modality • Maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies • Teach Economics or Mathematics courses, including potential courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, college algebra, quantitative reasoning, applied statistics, discrete mathematics, or applied business statistics
