• Enter and update data in federal systems, solutions, and tools supporting Head Start grants, including HSES and SmartFlow/Smartsheet • Support routine data processes including data entry, storage, validation, and analysis • Maintain accurate and current contact information, grant application cycles, funding and enrollment changes, reporting due dates, and report receipt status • Prepare and maintain project file folders containing completed work products, artifacts, and deliverables • Provide basic reporting assistance and respond to ad hoc data requests • Support standardized document entry and formatting, correspondence, and mail merge processes • Follow data entry procedures and quality control checklists • Support pre- and post-award grants management activities, including annual report tracking, grantee metrics data entry and QC, correspondence, web content, surveys/forms, information collection, SharePoint sites, analysis and reports, help desk inquiry logs, application screening, funding slates, decision letters, project abstracts, G5/GrantSolutions/HSES administration, and closeout functions • Perform other duties as assigned
• At least an Associate’s degree in Information Management or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience directly related to the task activities • High attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Smartsheet, and other data platforms • Experience with database systems and data entry • Strong organizational skills • Ability to follow established procedures • Ability to pass background investigations as required for access to federal facilities and systems; position requires Public Trust clearance • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 40–60 hours per week, including outside typical workdays/hours when required • Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing
• Virtual/remote work environment • Overtime may be expected during peak periods • 5–10% local and regional travel with overnight stays as necessary
