📋 Description

• Oversee the nationwide Office of Head Start customer service contract • Ensure project plans, objectives, timelines, standards, and deliverables are executed on time and with high quality • Serve as primary contract-level point of contact for federal clients, the Contracting Officer, and Contracting Officer’s Representative • Provide overall contract management, government liaison, and quality oversight • Coordinate and oversee Regional Project Managers and cross-team functions • Facilitate information flow among project teams, government stakeholders, and company leadership • Brief company leadership on project status, accomplishments, and challenges • Develop, monitor, and update master schedules • Conduct staff forecasting and risk management across concurrent contract efforts • Manage risk mitigation, resources, and cost control • Prepare contract documentation, deliverable reports, and financial progress reports • Direct internal staff, subcontractors, and consulting subject matter experts in grant program management activities • Lead weekly contract management meetings and quarterly program management reviews • Maintain Transition-In/Transition-Out Plans, Project Management Plan, Communications Plan, and QASP • Implement quality assurance systems to improve customer service and grantee support • Ensure compliance with 2 CFR 200, agency-specific grant guidance, GPRA, and the Evidence Act • Mentor and support Regional Project Managers and other staff • Address complaints and resolve team and client problems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • Master’s degree preferred • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent highly desired • At least 10 years of relevant experience in project management, managing multiple concurrent task orders and contracts • Contract management experience involving $1M–$5M concurrent contracts or at least $20M for a single, multi-task-order contract vehicle • Minimum 5 years of progressive supervisory experience • Experience supervising staff and managing 20+ FTEs • Proficiency developing, implementing, managing, and improving complex, high-profile, multi-faceted projects • Experience implementing quality assurance systems that improved client services • Proficiency reviewing, aggregating, and presenting data from multiple sources • Clear oral and written communication skills • Ability to produce high-quality memoranda, presentations, and correspondence • Ability to address team member and client complaints and resolve problems • Ability to coach team members effectively • Ability to pass background investigations for access to federal facilities and systems • Must obtain Public Trust clearance • Experience with federal grants management • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment • Ability to travel 10–15%, including overnight stays
