• Create biblically faithful themes, structures, and concepts for family devotionals • Research, outline, and write full devotional manuscripts • Integrate Scripture, devotional teaching, discussion prompts, and practical application • Write for a broad range of ages while maintaining theological clarity • Collaborate with the editorial team throughout development and revisions • Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitments • Submit a complete book proposal containing all required components • Provide at least five fully written sample devotional entries • Include manuscript status, estimated word count, and anticipated delivery date in the proposal

🎯 Requirements

• Contract, per-project basis; ongoing or full-time work is not guaranteed • Mid-level minimum experience • Passion for equipping families for faithful, everyday discipleship • Ability to create theologically clear and biblically faithful devotional content • Strong understanding of the target family • Developmentally appropriate tone and structure • Clear, compelling writing • Ability to submit all proposal materials in a single PDF, not a Word or Google document • Proposal must include a title and subtitle • Proposal must include a 1–2 sentence controlling idea • Proposal must include a one-paragraph summary of purpose, scope, structure, and tone • Proposal must include a specific target audience description addressing life stage, struggles, questions, longings, and current relevance • Proposal must identify 2–3 comparable titles from the past five years and explain similarities and distinctions • Proposal must include an author bio covering qualifications, education or relevant experience, subject-matter expertise, lived experience if appropriate, and previous publishing or writing experience • Proposal must include a devotional outline with a working title, Scripture reference, and main point for each entry • Proposal must include at least five complete sample devotions • Proposal must include timeline and specifications: manuscript status, estimated total word count, and anticipated delivery date • Generative AI is strongly discouraged; proposals using generative AI to generate or refine sample devotionals will not move forward
