📋 Description

• Lead a team responsible for customer contract operations and consistent, compliant administration of sell-side agreements • Supervise day-to-day team member activities and the Customer Contract departmental process • Assign work, prioritize queues, plan capacity, manage coverage, and ensure timely completion of deliverables • Set performance expectations; coach, train, develop, and provide feedback to team members • Support onboarding and continual cross-training • Monitor goals and operating metrics for accuracy, cycle time, service levels, productivity, training, and service experience • Use data and trends to identify and implement corrective actions and provide operational coverage • Review and approve work using contract knowledge and established policies • Make independent tactical decisions and ensure accurate contract documentation, business terms, required approvals, and agreement records • Escalate non-standard, high-risk, or out-of-policy matters to Legal or appropriate leaders • Oversee contract drafting, review, approval, activation, lifecycle maintenance, and customer rebate and incentive administration • Partner with Grainger’s Legal Department on custom agreements and non-standard language • Route, document, and escalate matters based on policy and risk • Support or lead process improvements related to contracting and proposals • Identify operational pain points, analyze workflow and performance data, and implement actions to improve efficiency, reduce risk, increase standardization, and enhance service experience

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required • 3+ years’ experience in contracting, contract operations, compliance, legal operations, or related experience with working knowledge of legal terms and conditions required • 1+ years’ experience in leading employees, projects, workflows, training, or process execution preferred • Experience with contract processes, sales and legal policies, contract terms and conditions, and standard operating procedures • Experience supervising day-to-day employee activities or a departmental process in a high-volume operational environment • Experience allocating work, managing competing priorities, driving accountability, providing coaching and feedback, and maintaining service levels • Experience making independent tactical decisions on defined matters and escalating strategic or higher-risk issues based on policy, risk, or scope • Experience organizing work, communicating clearly in written and verbal formats, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing time-sensitive deliverables with attention to accuracy and completeness • Experience analyzing workflow or performance data, identifying operational issues, troubleshooting process gaps, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting continuous-improvement actions • Experience working in SAP and Icertis to support contract-related processes and records • Only individuals authorized to work in the United States now and for the foreseeable future will be considered • This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future
