📋 Description

• Provide program instruction in an online format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. • Equipping students with the required skill set. • Facilitating classroom discussions. • Assessing student performance. • Preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom. • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes. • Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes. • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

🎯 Requirements

• Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or Doctorate in Instructional Leadership or Doctorate in Elementary Education or Doctorate in Learning and Teaching or Doctorate in Teaching Innovation. • Minimum: Masters in Education or Masters in Elementary Education or Masters in Curriculum and Instruction AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise. • All instructors must have a valid state teacher certification in elementary education AND a minimum of three years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher or elementary instructional specialist or 1-8 team lead or 1-8 department chair or elementary curriculum coach or new teacher mentor of 1-8 teachers AND At least graduate credits related to assessment and lesson planning.
