📋 Description

• Develop and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions • Conceptualize solutions during the project design phase • Program, debug, and test systems • Create project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other documentation • Commission new solutions at client sites • Identify opportunities for improvement • Create methodologies and solve complex problems • Learn new technologies • Mentor colleagues on areas of expertise • Work with machine and process control, information solutions, database development, operational efficiency, and mechatronics • Develop PLC/PAC programming, HMI applications, SCADA, network, database, and vision system solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Successful or upcoming completion of B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree • Academic or working experience with some or all listed technologies • Meticulous, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-starter individual and quick learner • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Valid Driver’s License • Full-time access to a personal vehicle • Must be located in Central Virginia or Maryland • Willingness to travel up to 30–50% across VA, MD, PA, NJ, and DE • Employee will be associated with and report to Grantek’s Richmond, VA office
